An intimate tasting restaurant in the heart of Old Nice, offering creative à la carte cuisine based on seasonal produce.
Located at 5 rue Barillerie, Le Panier is a discreet, refined place run by chef Aurélien Martin and sommelier Marie Lacoue. The concept is based on four-, five- or seven-course tasting menus, created daily according to market arrivals and the inspiration of the moment. There's no fixed menu here, just a series of well-mastered surprises.
There's no menu to choose from: dishes are composed according to the day's produce and the chef's creativity. At lunchtime, you'll discover a four-course menu. In the evening, five or seven courses punctuate a precise, inventive and sensitive taste experience. Each course is designed to surprise without disorienting, balancing tradition, modernity and travel inspiration.
The sober, elegant dining room features a cosy mezzanine, a green terrace and a hushed atmosphere. Service is attentive, professional and warm. The small but passionate team accompanies the meal with discretion and efficiency, always proposing relevant food and wine pairings.
