Biot Tourist Office

Perched on the heights, just a stone's throw from Antibes, Biot is a village where heritage and craftsmanship are in constant dialogue. Labelled «Cities and arts and crafts» since 1997, it owes its renown to contemporary glassmaking, but its history is also steeped in pottery tradition. From the 16th to the 20th century, Biot exported its famous jars all over the world, used to preserve and transport oils, wines and foodstuffs.

As you wander through the narrow streets, this rich past is also revealed through the traces left by the Knights Templar and a remarkable architectural heritage.
