What if the via ferrata moved... underground? This is the unique principle of the via souterrata, This unusual activity transposes rock climbing techniques (cables, rungs, lifelines) to the inside of a cave.
Situated in a cavity rich in concretions, in the heart of the La Moulière park in the commune of Quail (Préalpes de Grasse), this adventure combines the pleasures of via ferrata and caving. Inaugurated in 2004, the via souterrata was a world first and continues to attract the curious in search of new sensations.
Accessible from 8 years old and 1.35 m, It guarantees total immersion in 40 m underground. Safety equipment is provided, but we advise you to bring a warm vest and shoes suited to the humidity and mud of the caves.
