A 150 m² villa in a residential neighborhood in Cagnes-sur-Mer, between the sea and the hills, set amidst a 2,500 m² wooded garden. From the grounds, one can see the village perched on the Haut-de-Cagnes and its castle, and the sea appears in the distance through the roofs. This is a setting that is no longer found at this distance from the beaches.
The living room is the centerpiece of this house: a volume under the ceiling, very high, lit by a row of tall windows and open onto the garden by several curved doors. It features a large L-shaped living room, a fireplace and a dining table. The adjoining kitchen is fully equipped: large American refrigerator, plates, oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, wine glasses, dishes and utensils.
Each room has its own bathroom, which changes everything when traveling with two couples. The ground-floor room has a queen-size bed measuring 160 cm wide and opens directly onto the garden through a curved window; its bathroom has a bathtub, shower, and a private toilet. The upstairs room, also a queen-size bed, has a bathroom with bathtub and shower, and a balcony. Both levels are air-conditioned; a separate toilet serves each of them, and a laundry room with a washing machine completes the ground floor.
The garden is a living space in its own right. The swimming pool is long, fed by a waterfall of rocks, surrounded by palm trees and banana trees, with sunbathing areas. The pool house houses a summer kitchen with sink and refrigerator, and a dining table in the shade of a pergola. Further afield, the property includes a pétanque court and a table tennis table under the olive trees, several lawns and fruit trees. The barbecue, outdoor furniture and parking are all on site, within the property.
Something to know before booking. These 150 m² are designed for four travelers, not more: there are two bedrooms, not four. That’s a lot of space per person, and that’s the principle of this villa. Another thing is that the neighborhood is residential and everything is done by car, the beach as well as the historical center, each five minutes away.
